KC Concepcion Performs on Sharon's 'Songs of My Heart' Birthday Celebration

If she can fly in 2008, why can't she slide, roll, and dance on the swing this time?

Yes, KC Concepcion once again did an incredible performance as part of her yearly birthday gift to her mom Sharon Cuneta.

It was in Sharon's Mega Birthday celebration last year when KC first showed us what she can do for her mom and her fans. As a birthday gift, KC did an acrobatic ala- "fly me to the moon" dance number which made Sharon really worried saying "ibaba nyo ang anak ko!" This year, as highlight to Sharon's birthday celebration titled 'Songs of My Heart', KC once again mesmerized Araneta with her "merry-go-round" on the swing performance to the tune of Rihanna's 'Disturbia'.

Watch the two video performances of KC below and decide whether she surpassed her last year's performance:

Pinoy Indie Film 'Serbis' to be Shown in the US

Only this isn’t your… Filipino director Brillante Mendoza brings a frank, gritty immediacy to SERBIS, a multi-character, day-in-the-life portrait of a family-run movie house in the Philippines. Only this isn’t your typical movie house. It’s actually a downtrodden venue that shows graphic double features and allows the clientele to make their own sexual connections in the dark shadows. Today is a very important day, for Nanay Flor, the family matriarch, is going to discover if she won a years-in-the-making bigamy case against her husband. Meanwhile, her children are involved in dramatic situations of their own. Alan has just learned troubling news about his girlfriend, and Nayda is married but attracted to her cousin Ronald. As the day develops and the verdict comes down, the Pinedas struggle to focus on the daily tasks associated with the theater, even as their own personal conflicts threaten to overwhelm them. Shot on video, SERBIS recalls films from the Dogme 95 movement. Mendoza and screenwriter Armando Lao have clearly constructed these dramatic situations, yet they are shot on consumer video with such energy that the film often feels like a documentary. Mendoza pulls no punches, showing multiple scenes of behind-the-scenes sexuality that are even more graphic than the X-rated behavior unfolding on the cavernous theater’s silver screen. SERBIS provides a realistic, unflinching glimpse into this hyper-sexualized world.

Serbis (Service) stars Coco Martin (The Masseur), Jacklyn Jose (Consol), Kristoffer King, Julio Diaz, Dan Alvaro and Gina PareƱo (The Collector).

WHAT THE CRITICS SAY ABOUT SERBIS:

"Slightly more evolved from a narrative perspective than his previous feature Tirador (Slingshot), Serbis (Service) is another overwhelmingly tactile experience that should further cement the prolific filmmaker’s reputation." - John P. McCarthy (Boxoffice Magazine)

"Raw and Uncompromising." - New York Film Festival

"Bristling Sexuality, both gay and straight." - The Hollywood Reported

German Moreno Reconciles with Billy Joe Crawford

German 'Kuya Germs' Moreno finally buried the resentment and forgives Billy Joe Crawford.

The reconciliation was happened on Januay 10, at the reunion event of former That's Entertainment talents on Kuya Germs' late night show Walang Tulugan With The Master Showman at the Studio 5 of GMA Network Center.

"It's already 2009 and I really wanted to start this year right. Sinabi ko na I will do everything para lang mapatawad ako ni Kuya Germs," said Billy in an interview.

"I've tried so many times to call him on his phone, pero hindi niya ako sinasagot. Noong nakaraang Christmas and New Year, binati ko siya via text. Pero unfortunately hindi pa rin niya ako sinagot.

"Nalungkot nga ako noong nakaraang birthday niya, hindi ako nakasama. Every year kasi on his birthday, parati akong present. So, doon ko na-feel na I need to exert more effort para makita ni Kuya Germs na I want to fix things with him.

Their misunderstanding started when Billy Joe accepted the offer of ABS-CBN to host Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2 without the knowledge of Kuya Germs despite their constant communication.
