Manny Pangilinan - The Telecom Magnate on ABS-CBN's "Walang Iwanan"

Never before has any documentary on Philippine television brought together the biggest names in business like Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Henry Sy, Lucio Tan, Jose Concepcion Jr., Oscar Lopez, Lance Gokongwei, Socorro Ramos, Ramon Del Rosario, Cecilio Pedro, and Manny Pangilinan to send this message clearly: In these troubled times and pending crises, no Filipino leaves his fellow citizens behind.

Last Sunday, October 12, ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs aired the 76-minute documentary "Walang Iwanan" which was presented by Charo Santos Concio and the network's top anchors. It featured the beginnings and leadership challenges that top Philippine business tycoons have experienced in their lives, all oriented toward serving the Filipino people. One of them was Mr. Manny "The Telecom Magnate" Pangilinan, Chairman of PLDT and Smart Communications.

Mr. Pangilinan grew up exposed to slum areas in the company of his dad who worked as a company messenger. But when his businesses made him an influential business tycoon, he went back to his roots and donated computer learning centers in Pampanga, funded literacy and medical missions, and assisted in the construction of a juvenile center in Cavite.

Watch his video below as presented by Karen Davila:
