DOS issues demand data used for monthly visa bulletin calculations.
When these informations are now available, there is no use/need for a poll of this kind. It boils down to why take sample data when you have complete data provided by USCIS and DOS.

in how many days did u get EAD approved.
i applied (efile )in the second week of may done with FP and got CPO mail on 28th june , till now no approval mail or EAD Card
did u get Approval mail before getting actual EAD Card?

I believe its a good idea to wait for the RFE since that would be the right way to go about this.
When USCIS issued FAQ that they'll accept the applications without medical forms.. they did replied to it.. Check for USCIS FAQ # 1 (http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/EBFAQ1.pdf)
Q13: Can applications be filed without a required medical examination report?
A13. Yes. Consistent with its current regulations and practice, USCIS will accept adjustment of applications filed pursuant to Visa Bulletin No. 107 without a completed medical examination. In such cases, USCIS will issue a request for evidence.

I know this is irrelevant in a way but see it from a different angle for one moment. There is no other forum where you can get any information about these H1 employers who are playing games using retrogression. This is the only forum where most of the people on H1 are related to some desi consulting company and can share their experiences which would help other people who are in huge pain due to the unfair practices of their existing employers.
I would recommend the administrators to create a separate area on this forum where people can share these experiences and find genuine employers.

I got tired of searching for appointments myself on the NVARS website and signed up with XVARS instead. Lets see if they deliver. I picked Toronto between 12/07 and 12/20 so hoping they find me my appointment. Will post an update again soon.

I'm constantly amazed at how far I can push a shot through cropping or enlarging or both. My old D30 struggled a bit, but the D60 and 10D (and 300D as you've shown) have enough pixels to extract a lot. The 1D has a "lowly" 4mp, and I didn't expect much from it. DavidP sent me a shot from his 1D to play with, and I enlarged it to a 13x19 print without the pixels even breaking a sweat. Don't we live in a wonderful age for photography?

I got EAD on February 2008 with my primary GC employer. My PD is just 4 months away and I got a job offer in a big company which I cannot afford to loose.
The the job duties in my new job remain the same but I am worried to change job during this time when PDs are jumping very fast. The max I can delay the joining my new employer cannot be more than a 1 month. Please suggest the best approach...
Like others have pointed out - definitely worth it to switch over, given that you can use AC21.

I have mis-placed my EAD. Normally I can just apply for another EAD. But, I will be travelling to India in Mid March on Advance Parole and I'm not sure if I'll get the EAD by then.
My question is, will they ask for EAD upon re-entry.
I am thinking of applying for EAD after coming back. Is there any special processing for applying for a lost EAD ?
Any advice is appreciated.

Did you write to the Ombudsman in form 7001 about 140 delay ( other thread ). I sent it yesterday. When did you file 140 at NSC ?

I had enquired about 140 and got the same message. Then took an infopass and there the IO told there is nothing at 140 level and what I got is a standard reply .

A receipt of notice is generated immediately. As soon as your application reaches the USCIS ofice they generate the receipt of notice and post mail it to the attorney. It takes 2-3 days for the mail to reach your attorney so we can assume that the total time to get the receipt of notice from the day it was filed should not be greater than 4-5 days.
