I am not able to get my passport renewed. Indian consulate in Houston said that it will take atleast 4 weeks to get a passport.

Pl help. Can I go ahead and apply for my 485?

Also, would you know anything about copies of affidavits?

Well I dont understand you guys... Why the hell u start cursing... If i was a Devil or what so ever taking a illegal route... I wouldnot have posted this question here but would have gone the route and started the process

Btw before cursing.. at least think twice...

and wat about all those desi who work with consultancy who stay on bench etc etc ... where does Oct 2nd/ gone for them..,..? I am sure people who cursed me were one of them !

There will be no movement for EB2I without spill over. It seems this year is the key as the spillover expected is much more than the previous years (based on the pending application numbers). 10K from last year's family based leftover numbers should also go to EB2 I and EB2 C.

Question? Does I need to send all I 94 Cards of each H1B and all copies of passports with all pages.

Administrators, I am sure the question from "bluekayal" was an innocent one.

Honestly, I believe in IV as an organization which does not differentiate race, gender, country, category etc.

I am well aware that there are lot of ladies who are well represented in IV Core and its initiatives. I understand very well, how much they contribute when they volunteer for IV activities, especially after everything that a woman does with juggling time between family and work.

Also I am sure others will understand that there are more advisors who are not men, but they probably would not have agreed to present themselves yet, publicly as part of the board for ImmigrationVoice.

Again, hats off to all your efforts & no need to remove the hats to scratch your head...;)

IV does not make judgment based on any denomination that divides us as humans. Frankly, we are scratching our head with your comments.

sidd_k2002, Just move forward and sent the necessary sponsorship letter so that they can go ahead and get the visitors visa. Do you have any brothers and sisters living in India that are still with your parents? If so, they can show that as a reason why they would not like to stay back in US.
Stop worrying and think positive. Since Graduation is a BIG event and its once in a life-time event, the presence of parents at the honoring ceremony is the dream for every child. Your parents should convey this point to the VO.

Good Luck!!! Don't worry!!! Don't think too much!!! Just do the right thing!!! Everything should be okay...

I am not sure if any reputed lawyer is going to be able help. The fact that you agreed that you worked in a gas station when you were not suppose to causes a problem for a lawyer make a case. I am hoping one of the lawyers on this forum would be able to guide you on this.

Now at least I know that they do process the cases that were transfered. aat0995: Can you please mention your USCIS receive date for I 140.

Mine was received by NSC on Mar 22, 2007 and transfered to TSC on Apr 29 2008. I am on EB3.
