But it seems as if Alex Rodriguez may have given up on hiding his true feelings for Cameron Diaz.

The New York Yankees slugger was spotted giving his girlfriend of a year an affectionate pat on the bottom yesterday as the couple boarded a boat cruise with friends in Miami, Florida.

As the couple walked side-by-side along the jetty towards the waiting boat, Alex, 35, who is also known as A-Rod, reached behind her and gave her left cheek a squeeze.

Cameron was displaying her long lean legs in a pair of tiny white shorts which she paired with a pretty pink linen shirt and gold aviator sunglasses.

Later she stripped off her clothes and showed off her toned and taut stomach in a tiny white string bikini as she soaked up the sun aboard the boat.

A-Rod was casually dressed in blue shorts and a white T-shirt which he accessorised with a blue baseball cap.

The pair were falsely rumoured to have split earlier this year, but their relationship is clearly stronger than ever.

After ending her rocky marriage, Jennifer Lopez is now enjoying some smooth sailing.

The American Idol judge took to the high seas in Miami yesterday as she celebrated her 42nd birthday with friends and family aboard the 122-foot Oceanfast super yacht Never Say Never.

Showing her estranged husband Marc Anthony exactly what he's missing, the danced around the deck in a flowing white skirt, Pucci bikini top and matching headscarf.

She took to Twitter later that day, writing: 'Thank you all of my lovers for the birthday wishes! I’m having an amazing day surrounded by family and friends.'

While she was clearly doing her best to be upbeat, she later appeared solemn as she stole a few moments alone.

Lopez is holidaying with an entourage of 16 which includes her mother Guadalupe, sister, stylist and manager Benny Medina.

Her 3-year-old twins with Anthony, Emme and Max, are also understood to have accompanied her on the trip.

The night before, the group dined at at Scott Conant's restaurant, Scarpetta, inside the Fontainebleau hotel.

Lopez and Anthony announced the end of their seven year marriage on July 12.

'They just couldn't get along any more and it made them both miserable,' a source said.

The 33-year-old model appeared to have taken inspiration from The X Factor's John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward, with her extraordinarily high blonde quiff.

The five-year-old visited the Brentwood County Mart with her own mother Katie Holmes and upped the cuteness stakes as she pushed her dolly along.

According to an eyewitness, Suri stopped at various points during her outing to check on the doll and 'make sure it was ok'.

The youngster was dressed in a smart polka dot blouse with a floral print skirt and turquoise flats later switching to a pair of flip flops.

The two made their way into Brentwood Country Mart, where a variety of specialist boutiques and eateries are based.

If fans at the Comic Con convention were looking for a little action and verbal sparring, that's exactly what they got when Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron took stage to promote their movie Snow White and the Huntsman.

Kristen, 21, and Charlize, 35, engaged in some playful fighting talk yesterday as they unveiled the first character images from their upcoming fairytale film.

The South African actress admitted she didn't really know Stewart, but said she had a feeling the Twilight star was going to 'give me a run for my money.'

Theron added: 'And I'm ready for it b**ch, let's go!'

Producers debuted the first photos of Stewart, as an armoured, sword-wielding Snow White, and Theron, as the Evil Queen, at the Comic-Con fan convention in San Diego, California.

The film's co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin also attended the panel discussion.

Another big role: Australian actor Chris Hemsworth will play the huntsman, after earlier appearing in Thor and Star Trek


Stewart told the massive crowd of assembled fans that doing a traditional Snow White was not something 'I was jumping at.'

What attracted her was that this Snow White is more edgy: 'I get to have a sword and stuff,' Stewart said.

The other Snow White film will star Lily Collins and Julia Roberts as the evil queen. The Julia Roberts version does not yet have a title, but the team behind the movie recently moved up its release date.

At half-time, the opposition were leading, but daddy's team managed to equalise when Galaxy substitute Mike Magee scored in the 54th minute.

She said: ‘We’ve been swapping bits of advice and photos and sharing our excitement.

They came with little notes and that is always special to me, to get those from the girls.'
