The British actor, 40, was enjoying a walk with friends when he spoke with the unnamed woman as she played violin outside her house.
The pair chatted for a few minutes before embracing passionately and exchanging telephone numbers.
Earlier the star was snapped laughing as he posed by a film poster promoting his 2009 film Gamer.
