Running low: Savers have endured the worst year on record


Savers have suffered their worst year on record with the average account paying just 8p a day, research reveals today.

The crisis is so bad that things may not improve for up to five years, experts warn.
Millions of pensioners who rely on the income from their savings to survive are among the worst affected.

Savings have been hit by the Bank of England’s attempt to rescue the economy by slashing its base rate to 0.5 per cent, the lowest since the Bank was founded in 1694. Economists predict it could stay below 1 per cent for five years.

The research by financial information firm Moneyfacts is based on someone putting £3,500 into a savings account on January 1 last year.

This is the average amount that Britons have in a savings account, according to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics.

The low rates mean the accounts are earning almost no interest, with the average rate on an easy access savings account just 0.84 per cent – the lowest since records began in 1988.

For the whole year, it is worth a paltry £29 – or 8p a day.

But in 2007, before the recession began, the average savings rate was 3.94 per cent. This was worth £138 a year for a person with the average £3,500 in a savings account.

Michelle Slade, a financial analyst at Moneyfacts, said: ‘Savers had the worst year on record – and 2010 is not going to get any better.

‘Savers have had a dismal year as rates have fallen to record lows. People who rely on the income from their savings to supplement their income, such as pensioners, have been the hardest hit.’


The worst offenders are paying zero per cent on their savings accounts, which means their customers do not get a single penny in interest.
Many others are paying just 0.05 per cent. The Dudley Building Society pays 0 per cent on its Instant Tracker account on balances up to £500, and Cheltenham & Gloucester pays 0.05 per cent on its Direct Transfer account on balances below £10,000.
Half the country’s 11million old people rely on some income from their savings to supplement their weekly income, according to research by the National Pensioners
Convention.
Official figures also show that about 55 per cent of pensioners receive less than £10 a week from their investment.
NPC General secretary Dot Gibson said: ‘Since the recession began, pensioners have seen their income devastated by the drop in interest rates. Now they are struggling to survive the rising cost of living, and there does not appear to be any end in sight.’
Kevin Mountford, head of banking at the financial comparison website Moneysupermarket, accused banks and building societies of ‘luring’ in customers with ‘exciting’ rates which quickly fall. Firms rely on customers being too lazy to switch, he added.
Although pensions minister Angela Eagle told the House of Commons recently that the Government was ‘concerned’ about pensioners who rely on savings income, they will get just £2.40 extra a week from their basic state pension this year.

Sadly, despite these worthy reasons to come together and celebrate, you’ll often find yourself unable to make it to a traditional thanksgiving dinner. Whether you can't afford to travel to be with those you care about or you’re forced to work on Thanksgiving day, you may find that a traditional Thanksgiving isn't possible this year. This doesn't, however, mean you can't take time to celebrate with those around you. If Grandma's turkey dinner isn't in the cards this year, you can host a nontraditional Thanksgiving at your place. It's easy. Read on as we run down who to invite, what to serve, how to set up your house, and activities to keep the party lively. In general, we're telling you how to throw a Thanksgiving party - man-style.

Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate community, and you can't very well do that alone. So remember the more, the merrier, and consider inviting the following folks.

Family
You may not be able to do a sit-down family meal, but be sure to invite any family members who live nearby. Sure, it's not the same as everybody gathered around the big table, but that isn't always a bad thing; if only two or three members of your family come, the odds of holiday drama from warring factions are much lower. Besides, those straggling family members will likely enjoy your nontraditional approach to throwing a Thanksgiving party - man-style.

Friends
This one's a no-brainer: you're having a party, and you want your good friends to be there. Just remember to get the word out early so they don't make plans or worse, do Thanksgiving at home alone.

Colleagues and neighbors
This might not be as obvious as the others, but consider inviting coworkers, or the cool couple who live in the apartment above yours. If you work in an industry that requires you to work on Thanksgiving (or Friday), it's likely that some of your coworkers are in the same boat as you, and don't have plans to travel for the holiday. Your neighbors will always appreciate an invitation, even if they aren't able to attend. As you'll see, the event we're planning really isn't that much work, so invite those around you -- it sounds like a cliché, but the holiday is all about opening your home to others.

This is meant to be a party, so keep things simple. Ask each person to bring something. For a bigger party, you can leave it at that, but for a smaller group you'll want to assign something specific to each person: one person brings football food, another brings some bottles of wine, and so on. As for you, volunteer to handle the main course. The best way to do this is to prepare a turkey and some mashed potatoes. The potatoes will take a little bit of work, but after you set up the bird and put it in the oven, you’ll have a few hours while it cooks to prepare everything else.

In terms of drinks, you're going to want beer and wine of course, but try mixing it up on the cocktails side. It's the holidays, and while it might be a bit early for eggnog, a hard cider or hot rum punch is always in good taste.

Prepping the house
You have two separate goals in getting your house ready for company; you want the house to look manly, and also to look (and stay) clean. Unless you and your girlfriend are living together, you're probably not going to go overboard on decorations. However, get a few holiday scented candles and maybe some fresh cut flowers for the center of the table. You'll have a lot of people in your space, so while you don't need to change everything around, you at least want to put your best foot forward.

Secondly, get everything cleaned up and ready for company. Make sure the guest bathroom has soap and towels, and make sure there's space in the fridge for all the incoming food. Alongside this, set it up so your house will stay clean and organized: if you have extra wastebaskets or trash cans, set them out in areas people are going to be so you don't spend the next two days picking up discarded cups and plates.

Finally, if you don't want your stuff to get screwed up, plan for that too. If you have a home theater system that has more than three remotes (good for you), get it set up and running so people don't change your settings while trying to find the game.

While the focal point of the party is going to be pigging out on some tasty food, you should also have a general idea of some other activities for the day. After all, people who've stuffed themselves are going to want to sit and relax. So, any high-energy activities should definitely be pre-meal. Here are some ideas:

Watch (and play) football
Unless you don't enjoy football, Thanksgiving day football games are the perfect decompression activities. Your guests get to sit and digest all the good food, and you get a chance to show off your home theater setup. You can extend the football theme before the food is served by going out in the yard to toss the pigskin, or even get a game going -- if the girls join in you can switch to two-hand touch.

Gamble
Set up a little gambling for your guests, and you're sure to keep them occupied. Obviously the football games are a perfect chance for a friendly bet or two. You can even organize a game of squares to raise the stakes. Consider breaking out your poker chips and a deck of cards. A few rounds of Hold'em after dinner is just the thing to keep the evening moving along.

Have a cigar walk after dinner
A good walk after dinner can help your aching stomach begin the long road to recovery. So, pick up a few cigars and break them out after dinner for a quick stroll around the neighborhood. You and the guys can take in the view, and a quality cigar and quiet contemplation is a great way to spend a few minutes enjoying one anothers' company.

Organize a Black Friday raid
If lots of people you know are taking Friday off to roll into the weekend, why not organize a Black Friday raid? Despite the weakened economy, Black Friday is still going strong, and you can have some fun with trying to score some crazy deals. Create a battle plan -- divide your troops to attack two or more stores in the same area, come up with a list of targets based on what everybody has their eyes on buying, and have fun with getting everybody involved in how you're going to maximize your loot. Provide supplies for your soldiers: if you're waiting outside a store, or worse, camping out, bring provisions. You can turn this into a poor man's tailgate party; it's not like you won't have tons of leftover food after Thursday, so why not make some hot open-faced turkey sandwiches to bring along?

How To: Handle Losing Your Job

So you lost your job. Find us a man who hasn't lost a job in his life and we'll show you a man who works for the government. Luckily, you still have your health. Life could be worse.

Whether you were fired or laid off, your first reaction to losing your job will most likely be shock, followed by anger. You might be tempted to tell your boss where he can shove his briefcase -- but that's a bad idea. Keep your mouth shut and follow these seven steps to successfully handle losing your job.

1- Negotiate a severance package
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

Many companies will give you at least two weeks' severance pay. Some will give you up to a year's pay, depending on whether you were fired or laid off. If possible, contact other employees who were previously let go and ask them how much they received when they left the company. This way you'll know what's fair and have a monetary value to shoot for.

Additionally, you are legally entitled to be paid for unused vacation time. If you think you're not getting a fair severance package, consult a labor attorney. You should be able to get a free consultation to find out whether or not you have a case.

2- Ask for references

Your direct boss and other company executives you worked with should be willing to provide you with a positive reference or recommendation. Unless, of course, you were caught in the copier room with the boss' girlfriend during the company Christmas party, or you stole from your company, in which case you probably deserved to lose your job.

It's in your former employer's best interest that you find another job, so you don't put a major dent in their unemployment insurance fund (and that's something that should help you handle losing your job). Once you're on the payroll at a new company, your previous company is off the hook for the payments.

Additionally, in our litigious society, everyone's afraid of being sued. So, your former employer will be reluctant to say or write anything negative about your work performance, unless you were actually charged with a crime. Make it easy on your boss, and volunteer to write a letter of recommendation yourself that he can review and sign.

3- Leave with class

You might feel like you were treated unfairly and did not deserve to be let go. But life isn't always fair, and neither are employers. So hold your head up high, and with a smile on your face thank your boss for the opportunity he gave you to work at his company. Then walk out the door, never to return, and don't look back.

Your employer will respect you for the way you've handled this difficult experience. And you'll leave him thinking about the great employee he lost. You never know when a new job opportunity with your boss might arrive at another company in the future.

4- Apply for unemployment benefits

The next step to handle losing your job is to apply for unemployment benefits as soon as possible. This is no time for excessive pride and there's no shame in collecting unemployment. You might not realize that you're actually bilking your ex-employer, not the government. The company pays your benefits out of its unemployment insurance fund.

Whether you're getting severance pay or not, you're eligible for unemployment. Go to your local office of the State Department of Employment Security and apply for benefits, which are based on a percentage of your previous salary.

5- Have a little fun

Before you start looking for a new job, take at least a week to relax and recharge your batteries. Commiserate with your buddies over a few drinks at your favorite bar. Take that vacation you never had time for before.

Use this free time to meet and date women, but don't tell the new girls you meet that you're unemployed. Put a positive spin on your current employment status. Depending on your career, tell the ladies you're "switching careers," an "independent contractor," a "consultant," or a "freelancer." You'll get further with them than you would by telling them you're currently jobless.

6- Hit the pavement for a new gig

Update your resume and go get a job. Aside from applying the traditional way by sending out resumes, post it on career sites like Monster.com and let employers come to you.

Once you start getting interviews, don't tell potential employers that you were fired. After all, you wouldn't tell a woman you just met that your last girlfriend dumped you. In the wake of the recent recession, potential employers are accustomed to seeing candidates who have been laid off. So, it's not the kiss of death.

Don't lie, but don't volunteer information to potential employers regarding why you left your previous job. If they ask, use one of the following phrases to explain:
"I was downsized in corporate restructuring" or "My department was shut down."
Keep in mind that your previous employer can only confirm the date when you were hired and when you left. By law, they cannot comment on whether you left or they let you go.

7- Use this time to improve yourself

While you're looking for a new job, use your free time to improve yourself and improve your chances of finding a job. Avoid detrimental, time-wasting activities such as watching TV and drinking beer during the day. One of the key ways to handle losing your job is to stay focused without beating yourself up too hard.

Instead, do something productive. Learn a new language to help widen your job opportunities. Take a class on public speaking to improve your speech skills. Attend networking events in your chosen field, where you can meet people who know of job openings. Or, find an unpaid internship in a new career area you're interested in. It might lead to you being hired on in a paid position.

Volunteer at a charity to meet people, especially women. Write that novel you've always dreamed of. Focus on your health by working out and eating well.

As a nation we had gone off the deep end in terms of debt-fueled consumption and low savings. Now, tough times are spurring a reversal. The U.S. savings rate, once around zero, has pushed upward to about 4% this year. We could do better, and plenty has been written about how to go about pinching more pennies.

You've probably seen a lot of this advice and found it either predictable, too painful to actually act on or insufficient to make much of a difference — things like shopping with coupons, buying energy-efficient windows and appliances, cutting back on your Starbucks habit, dropping the premium cable package (and maybe joining Netflix), having the house cleaner come half as often (and maybe picking up a broom), getting familiar with craigslist.com so you can buy more stuff used, going to the library, vacationing at home, quitting the health club (and jogging), turning down the thermostat (and putting on a sweater).

Minimize Investing Costs

Most folks don't think much about the cost of investing because they aren't active traders, and so discount brokerages offering $7 stock trades as an alternative to much higher full-service fees don't mean much. Yet odds are you have some money, maybe even quite a bit, tucked away in one or more mutual funds in, say, your 401(k) or an IRA and that you pay no attention to the recurring fees these funds impose on you whether you buy, sell, hold or, well, just go to sleep. These fees fly under the radar because they are deducted from your balance and typically minuscule next to the gain or loss in your portfolio. But make no mistake: you pay them, and the costs can be surprisingly high.

Thankfully the costs can also be chopped down fairly easily. The key is sticking with extremely low-cost index funds, where the annual expense may be as little as 0.2% of your balance as opposed to actively managed funds where the annual expense typically runs about 1.19%. What does that mean? On an account worth $100,000, your annual cost in index funds is a mere $200 instead of $1,190 with actively managed funds. So you'd save $990 a year by switching. But that's only the start. The money you save each year stays in the fund and grows. Let's say a low-cost index fund and an average-cost actively managed fund both grow 8% a year for 20 years. Over that period, you'd end up with $75,678 more with the index fund by virtue of the additional compound returns from lower expenses; the index fund would grow to $449,133 while the actively managed fund would grow to $373,455. That's more than $3,700 a year.



Rightsize Your Cell-Phone Plan

Eight in 10 cell-phone owners either pay for service they don't use or rack up regular and excessive overage charges — and, on average, they could save 22% a month or more than $400 a year without altering their calling habits, according to Tom Pepe, CEO of Validas, which advises small businesses and individuals how to pick the right cell-phone plan. Multiply that figure by the number of people in your family plan and you could be talking about way more than $1,000 a year. "The big problem is the invoice," Pepe says. "You just can't understand it." That makes choosing the right plan difficult. Meanwhile, plans offered by Sprint, Verizon and others are constantly changing, as are your family's calling, texting and downloading habits. So cutting your cell bill is like trying to hit a moving target — frustrating and seemingly impossible. If you want to figure this out on your own start with an unlimited plan because the cost of minutes not included in your monthly package can quickly overwhelm the additional cost of a larger package. Monitor your bill closely for three months; scale back to a cheaper plan when you have a firm grasp on the minutes and services you really need. Overage charges are the single biggest bill buster; make sure you have enough prime-time minutes. Other simple ways to cut: consider switching to a prepaid (no monthly fee) calling plan if you are an occasional user, use your land line when at home to conserve prime-time cell minutes and stop downloading games and ringtones.



Rethink Your Insurance

You'll save 10% right away by raising the deductible on your car or homeowner's policy to, say, $500 or $1,000 from the typical $250. You shouldn't make small claims anyway; they may push your premiums higher. Keep an emergency fund rather than paying for a low deductible. Make sure you buy your auto and homeowner's coverage from the same insurer to get a 15% multiline discount. You can lower premiums further by adding storm shutters, reinforcing your roof or buying stronger roofing materials, or by adding smoke detectors, dead-bolt locks and a burglar alarm or a sprinkler system. You can save on medical insurance too by raising the deductible or switching to an HMO from a more costly PPO or POS plan.

"Raising deductibles to save on premiums makes the most sense for those who are healthy and have cash reserves to pay the increased cost in the event they have more claims than expected," says Kevin J. Meehan, a financial planner with Summit Wealth Advisors in Itasca, Ill. "Many pay for benefits they just don't use." This is also true of life insurance, where you may be able to save thousands of dollars a year in premiums by avoiding whole or universal coverage and opting for a term policy with a face amount large enough to retire all your family debt immediately and leave your spouse with an income stream for life.



Give Time, Not Money

This is no time to turn a cold shoulder on charitable groups that you've supported in the past. Like virtually all organizations and individuals, charities have felt the bite of the recession. They are receiving fewer and smaller contributions, and are cutting their budgets and their activities. If you've been blessed with stable and secure income in these rocky times, by all means keep giving. But if cash is short you can still support your favorite charity as before — by donating your time instead of your money.

A volunteer's time may not pay the rent, but it has measurable value. The Independent Sector, a think tank for nonprofits, estimates that a volunteer hour is worth just over $20. So do the math. If in the past you have given, say, to your church to the tune of $2,000 a year — give 100 hours of your time instead, or maybe 50 hours plus $1,000. You'll save $1,000 or more while maintaining your commitment and feeling good about yourself. One note of caution: the value of your time is not tax deductible, though any materials or supplies you provide while volunteering can be deducted.



Avoid Fee Creep ...

... and watch for unauthorized charges. Fees are going up across the services spectrum as companies look for ways to bolster revenue in a slow economy — and the worst part is that the increases typically are done so quietly you may not figure them out for months. The banking industry has been most aggressive on this front, having raised the price of just about everything from overseas charge-card transactions, ATM withdrawals and rewards cards dues to late payments, cash advances, overdraft protection, wire transfers and even insufficient card activity. It's all disclosed — in the fine print somewhere on page 98. Good luck with that. At the same time, sneaky marketers are finding ways to hit you with small monthly charges that often go undetected by cardholders for months, and once found can be difficult to stop.

You are most at risk when you accept a free trial for any product or service (it just keeps coming and you just keep getting charged) or agree to a monthly payment for, say, access to an online game that you get tired of but can't seem to cancel. Sometimes after successfully canceling, the charges inexplicably start again a few months later. Bank fees and unauthorized (or forgotten) recurring charges can easily cost you $1,000 or more each year. Your best protection is to do a line-by-line review of your charge-card statements every month, paying attention to each charge no matter how small (indeed, especially the small ones) as well as to the interest rate and fees you are paying. Don't assume a phone call to a merchant or service provider will end unwanted charges; you have to keep monitoring your statement and complain to the card company if you are unable to cancel a recurring charge.

The cast and crew of Mad Men do a great job of transporting viewers to another time and place. And, as much as we love Roger Sterling, nobody embodies the manly qualities we're talking about like Don Draper. Jon Hamm's Golden Globe winning character recently finished first in our Top 49 Most Influential Men poll. So, what influence has Don had on your working style? Read on for some career tips we've gleaned from obsessing over episodes (we prefer to call it studying).

Play your position
No matter your title at work, play the position appropriately. This really boils down to knowing everything your job entails. Don always knows what deliverables his superiors, team and clients expect. As a leader, you should not consider any work to be “beneath you,” but you also need to be sure your team is doing their work, not just leaving it for you to pick up. Consider a manager whose team consistently leaves the bathroom a mess. If you were in this manager's shoes, would you talk to each member of your team, having a talk about bathroom standards that was boring and non-confrontational, but still left no doubt as to what you expected of your staff in terms of how to maintain the bathroom? If you're like most managers the answer is no; you'd simply start cleaning the bathroom yourself so you didn't have to have that uncomfortable talk with your staff. Keep the image in your mind -- some managers would rather clean up the toilets than tell an employee what to do.

Make it about the work
Do you come to work to make friends or to work? Don Draper certainly cares more about his work than he cares about the people on his team. Certainly, there is no need to be aggressive or to be a jerk, but this career tip from Don Draper highlights that friendship isn't the main reason to show up every morning. Go to work to get things accomplished and be effective. If you can be friends with those you work with (and it's almost always the case) that's even better, but never forget that it's also just a bonus. You might like the people you work with, but you don't show up at 9 a.m. every day because you like them.

Keep your mouth shut
One of the fundamental rules of knowledge as power is to never give away information when it does not benefit you. If you are in a position that affords you exclusive knowledge, the more people you give this knowledge to, the more diluted your power becomes. The rule here is simple: Keep your mouth shut -- and do it as much as you can (and the less you say the better). Your personal life, who in the office is hooking up, your boss' golf game -- all of that is valuable information in one way or another. Don't hand it out unless you have to. Don embodies all of these qualities. In fact, one of the very few times Don blows his cool is when he overhears the team dragging Freddy Rumsen's name through the mud.

This applies to everything except the work. If accounting asks for the month's numbers, send them over (a reply of “knowledge is power” would get you fired). Talk about the work as much as you like; if nothing else, it keeps you from talking about your private life or any juicy office gossip. Who do you respect more: The person who's always talking with you about the next big project at work or the person who's always telling you about their problems at home? Don Draper is a master in keeping his business private -- two words: Dick Whitman.

Respect what you do
Do you work with people who act like what they do is a joke? Not their industry, not their division, but their own individual job as a joke? You know, the guy who takes twice the smoke breaks of anyone else or who is always prowling the workplace, looking for somebody who's free to talk? Besides wasting time, this person is sending a clear message that they don't take their job too seriously. If you don't take what you do seriously, why should anybody else in the organization? You need to come to work every day convinced that you play a crucial role. Many men wonder why they don't command more respect in the workplace, yet they don't carry themselves with respect. This career tip from Don Draper teaches us the opposite: There's no need to brag about past success and no need to overstate your role, but never act as if your job is unimportant or your contributions aren't central to your team's success.

Dress the part
Don't overdress or underdress -- always dress for the occasion. Show up looking as snappy as you can while still looking like you're ready to hit the phones, not the clubs (or worse, the greens). We've covered plenty of fresh looks for men on the site, so be sure to study up if you're fashion impaired. Don't chase this month's fashion, stick with timeless looks that suit any situation -- some of the clothing on Mad Men are as current today as it was back then. Don't show up looking wrinkled and disheveled. If you work in an office where collared shirts and ties are expected, keep a spare tie that goes with most outfits in your desk drawer. That way, if you stain your tie before a big meeting, you're covered. If you really want to be on your game, keep some Shout wipes and a small bottle of wrinkle releaser on hand as well.

Google Adsense Tips, Tricks, and Secrets

I’ve been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips lately, and thought it would be helpful to consolidate as many as possible in one place without the comments. I’ve also thrown in a few tips of my own. We start out with some of the basic general stuff and move to the more specific topics later on.


Build an Empire?
When you’re deciding to become a website publisher you will fall into one of two broad categories:

Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit
Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit

The reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Having 100 websites leaves you with maintenance, management and content issues. Having one website leaves you open to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm’s, market trends, etc). You can adapt your plan on the way, but you’ll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.

General or Niche
You can build your website around general topics or niche ones. Generally speaking niche websites work better with adsense. First off the ad targeting is much better. Secondly as you have a narrow focus your writing naturally becomes more expert in nature. Hopefully this makes you more authority in your field.

If this is your first try at building an adsense website, make it about something you enjoy. It will make the process much easier and less painful to accomplish. You should however make sure that your topic has enough of an ad inventory and the payout is at a level you are comfortable with. You may love medieval folk dancing, but the pool of advertisers for that subject is very small (in fact it’s currently zero).

Once you’ve gotten the hang of how Adsense works on a website, you are going to want to dabble in some high paying keywords, you may even be tempted to buy a high paying keyword list. This does come with some dangers. First off the level of fraud is much higher on the big money terms. Secondly there is a distortion of the supply and demand relationship for these terms. Everyone wants ads on their website that make $35 or more a click, however the number of advertisers who are willing to pay that much is pretty limited. When you’re building a new site don’t put adsense on it until it’s finished. In fact I’d go even farther and say don’t put adsense on it until you have built inbound links and started getting traffic. If you put up a website with “lorem ipsum” dummy or placeholder text, your adsense ads will almost certainly be off topic. This is often true for new files on existing websites, especially if the topic is new or different. It may take days or weeks for google’s media bot to come back to your page and get the ads properly targeted. TIP: If you start getting lots of traffic from a variety of IP’s you will speed this process up dramatically.

I like to build my sites using include files. I put the header, footer and navigation in common files. It makes it much easier to maintain and manage. I also like to put my adsense code in include files. If I want/need to change my adsense code, it’s only one file I have to work with. TIP: I also use programming to turn the adsense on or off. I can change one global variable to true or false and my adsense ads will appear or disappear.

Managing URL’s and channels
Adsense channels is one area where it’s really easy to go overboard with stats. You can set up URL channels to compare how one website is doing to another. You can also set up sub channels for each URL. If you wanted to you do something channels like this:

domain2.com – 728 banner

domain2.com – 336 block
domain3.com – 300 block
While this is great for testing and knowing who clicks where and why, it makes your reporting a little wonky. Your total number will always be correct but when you look at your reports with a channel break down things will get displayed multiple times and not add up to correct total. Makes things pretty confusing, so decide if you really need/want that level of reporting detail. TIP: At the very least you want to know what URL is generating the income so be sure to enter distinct URL channels.

Site Design and Integration

Once you know you are going to put adsense on your website you’re going to have to consider where to put it. If this is new site it’s easier, if it’s an existing site it’s more difficult. While there are some people who will be able to do it, in most cases I’d say if you just slap the adsense code in, you’ll end up with a frankensite monster (props to Tedster of WMW for the buzzword). While every website is different, Google has published some heat maps showing the optimal locations. No surprise that the best spots are middle of the page and left hand side. Now I’ve done really well by placing it on the right, but you should know why you’re doing it that way before hand, and be prepared to change it if it doesn’t work out.

Google has also has published a list of the highest performing ad sizes:

336×280 large rectangle
300×250 inline rectangle
160×600 wide skyscraper
From the sites that I run, I do really well with the 336 rectangle and 160 skyscraper. My next best performing ad size is the 728 leaderboard, I don’t really use the 300 inline rectangle too often. So really it depends on how well you integrate these into your site. Placement can have a dramatic effect on performance. TIP: When working on a new site or new layout you may want to give each location it’s own channel for a little while until you understand the users behavior.

Another ‘trick’ that can increase your CTR is by blending your adsense into your body copy. For example if your body copy is black, remove the adsense border and make the title, text, and URL black.TIP: Try changing all of your page hyperlinks to a high contrast color (like dark red or a bold blue) then change the adsense title to the same color.

The one area where I’ve found blended ads don’t perform as well is forums, especially ones with a high volume of repeat members. Regular visitors develop banner blindness pretty quickly. One ‘trick’ to keep the ads from being ignored is to randomize the color and even the placement. As with any of the decisions about location, placement and color it’s a trade off. How much do you emphasize the ads without annoying your visitors. Remember it’s better to have a 1% CTR with 500 regular visitors as opposed to a 5% CTR with 50 visitors. TIP: For forums try placing the adsense ads directly above or below the the first forum thread.

Using Images
One of the latest ’secrets’ to make the rounds is using images placed directly above or below an adsense leaderboard. This has been used for a while but came out in a digital point forum thread where a member talked about quadrupling their CTR. Basically you set up the adsense code in a table with four images that line up directly with the ads. Whether or not this is deceptive is fuzzy and very subjective. Obviously four blinking arrows would be ‘enticing people to click’ and be against the adsense TOS. However placing pictures of 4 laptops over laptops ads isn’t, so use your best judgment here and look at it from the advertiser or Google’s perspective. If you have a question as to your implementation being ‘over the line’ write to adsense and ask them to take a look.

As far as using the images, I’ve done it and can tell you it definitely works. You get the best results when the images ‘complete the story the ads are telling’. For example if you have ads about apple pies, use pictures of freshly baked apple pies, instead of granny smith, Macintosh, pink lady, and braeburn apples. TIP: Don’t limit yourself to using images only on that size ad unit, it works just as well with the other sizes, like the 336 rectangle.

Added:
I got a little criticizm for this and rightly so, as I wasn’t specific as I could have been. Do not use very identifiable brand name or products for your images. Use generic non-specific stock images whenever possible and appropriate.

Multiple Ad Units
Another way to increase ad revenue is to use multiple ad units. According to Google’s TOS you are allowed to post up to three ad units per page. Similar to standard search results the highest paying ad units will be served first and the lowest being served last. If there is enough of an ad inventory, place all three ad units. However you should pay attention to the payouts. Current assumption is you get 60% of the revenue (on a $0.05 click you get $0.03). So if a click from the third ad unit is only paying between 3 to 5 cents you may want to omit it from your page. This is one are where giving your ad units channels does have value. If one ad unit is getting a higher percentage of click throughs you’ll want to make sure the highest paying ads are being served there. TIP:Use CSS positioning to get your highest paying ads serving in the location with the highest CTR.


Adsense in RSS
With the growth of blogs and RSS feeds you’re starting to see adsense included in the feeds now. IMHO this doesn’t work, and here’s why:

You only get to place one ad unit.
You have no control over finding the ’sweet spot’ for the ad unit.
The ads are usually poorly targeted (this is getting better).
People develop ‘banner blindness’.
I know people like being able to read full postings in their feed reader, and there are at least a dozen other reasons for full posts from pleasing your users to mobile offline computing, all of which are completely valid. However if your website depends on generating adsense revenue to survive, then bring them to the site and show them the ads there.

Affiliate Sites
Placing Adsense on affiliate sites is tricky. Are you giving up a $10, $20, or $30 sale for a $1 click? This is something you have to test on your own to figure out. If you aren’t converting now it’s definitely worth a try. I like to use adsense on my article pages. For example let’s say you had an affiliate website where you sold shoes. You’re going to need some related articles to ‘flesh out’ the site. Things like ‘getting a shoe shine’ or ‘finding a shoe repair shop’ these are excellent spots for adsense. While you won’t get rich, they will usually provide a small steady income and cover things like hosting costs.TIP: If you find you have pages getting more than 50 clicks per month add more pages about this topic, and link the pages together. Mine you logs for the search terms used.

PPC Arbitrage
This is a dicey subject so I’m going to steer clear of precise examples. Basically you bid on low volume uber niche terms at a very low cost. You set up landing page that contains high payout ads for the related general topic. You are looking for terms with a large gap between the price you are bidding on adwords and the price you are getting on Adsense. If you pay $0.10 a click and get $1.00 a click you make $0.90 each click. To get your adsense ad approved you will need to ‘add some value’ along the way. You can make a killing or get taken to the cleaners with this one, so make sure you know what you are doing before you try it.

“above the fold” area on what would be considered your viewers average
resolution/browser window size if there are few other enticing links
above the fold. Makes for an interesting layout but if you’re building
a site for AdSense it may be worth it. We consistently receive very
high CTRs from doing this.

Try to build sites that allow you to quickly try any and all of
those locations outlined in the heatmap guide or at least allow you a
wide degree of freedom to easily change ad/content locations.

GoogleBot เวอร์ชัน DeepBotนี้จะเหมือนผงซักฟอกสำหรับคราบฝังลึก พูดอีกอย่างให้ไม่งงก็คือ DeepBotมีนิสัยชอบเดินไกลและเป็นนักค้นหา มันจะพยายามอย่างสุดความสามารถในการค้นหาเว็บเพจอันห่างไกลความเจริญ (เว็บที่ไม่เคยโปรโมต) ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเว็บเก่า เว็บใหม่ ด้วยการใช้ลิงก์เป็นถนนเดินทางไปทั่วอินเทอร์เน็ต เมื่อมันพบแล้ว มันก็จะดาวน์โหลดข้อมูลใหม่ๆ ที่มันเจอเก็บลงใน Index ของ Google รวมทั้งลิงก์ใหม่ๆ ก็เช่นกัน ซึ่งจะใช้เวลาประมาณหนึ่งเดือนสำหรับขบวนการทั้งหมด

พูดอีกอย่างคือ DeepBot ใช้เวลาในการทำงานครั้งละเป็นเดือน (ลองนึกภาพจำนวนเว็บทั้งหมด และยังไม่พูดถึงเว็บใหม่ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นมาทุกวันอีก) การทำงานของ DeepBot ส่วนใหญ่จะกินเวลาอยู่ที่ประมาณ 1 เดือน ส่วนมันจะเริ่มทำงานวันไหน อันนี้ก็แล้วแต่ว่าแต่ละครั้งมันจบงานวันไหน ไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นวันรับเงินเดือนเสมอไปนะครับถึงจะทำงานได้ ดังนั้น บางที่คุณอาจเห็นอันดับเว็บเพจต่างๆ เปลี่ยนไปมาไม่คงที่ในแต่ละเดือน (Google Dance) ส่วนหนึ่งก็เพราะการทำงานของ DeepBot ที่พบอะไรใหม่ๆ บนโลกออนไลน์ที่ต้องอัปเดทตลอดนั่นเอง


Google FreshBot
เมื่อ Google มีข้อมูลเว็บเพจและลิงก์ทั้งเก่าและใหม่มากมายจากการใช้ DeepBot ทำงานให้แล้ว ทีนี้ก็จะเหลือแต่ว่า จะทำยังไงให้ Indexer นั้นมีข้อมูลที่สดใหม่ไม่ล้าสมัยอยู่ตลอด ลองนึกภาพดูง่ายเลยว่า ถ้าเมื่อคืนเทนนิสวิมเบอร์ดันนัดชิง โรเจอ เฟดเดอเรอร์ พลาดท่า พ่ายแพ้ให้กับ นาดาล ข่าวใหม่ และข่าวใหญ่อย่างนี้ ถ้า Google ไม่สามารถนำเอามาอัปเดทได้ เสียหน้าแย่เลย

ดังนั้นมันเป็นหน้าที่ของ Google ที่จะต้องมีตัวซอฟท์แวร์ที่คอยวิ่งหาข้อมูลใหม่ๆ อัปเดทๆ เข้ามาให้ผู้ใช้ Search ได้ค้นเจอกันได้ แต่จะหาได้ที่ไหนล่ะ ก็แน่นอนว่า FreshBot ก็ต้องมุ่งไปที่เว็บที่มีการอัปเดทบ่อยครั้งทุกวัน ที่มันสามารถตรวจจับได้ ว่าเว็บใครฝุ่นจับใยแมงมุมเกาะ หรือเว็บใครมีการเช็ดปัดเงาทุกวัน และมันเกี่ยวอะไรกับเราผู้ทำเว็บล่ะ เดี๋ยวผมจะบอก

เจ้า FreshBot ที่ขยันและอินเทรนด์ตัวนี้จะชอบแวะเวียนไปตามเว็บไซต์ที่มีการอัปเดตเนื้อหาบ่อยๆ ยิ่งบ่อยเท่าไหร่มันก็จะจำได้ และยิ่งชอบแวะไปหาบ่อยเท่านั้น เพื่อเก็บเนื้อหาล่าสุดจากเว็บไซต์เหล่านั้น จะได้มาอัปเดทฐานข้อมูลของมัน (Indexer) เพื่อไม่ให้ตกข่าวใหม่ๆ

สิ่งนี้บอกได้ว่า ถ้ายิ่งเว็บคุณมีการอัปเดทและใส่เนื้อหาใหม่ๆ เข้าไปบ่อยๆ ยิ่งบ่อยเท่าไหร่ เนื้อหาที่คุณใส่เข้าไปในเว็บคุณก็จะยิ่งไปโผล่อยู่ที่ Google ได้เร็วเท่านั้น ซึ่งก็จะส่งผลดีกับคุณทันที เพราะใครๆ ก็ที่เข้ามาใน Google เพื่อหาข้อมูลที่คุณมีในเว็บก็จะพบกับเว็บคุณได้ง่ายขึ้น เพราะทันทีที่คุณใส่เนื้อหาใหม่เข้าไปบนเว็บคุณ Google ก็จะเอาไปใส่ใน Index อย่างรวดเร็วทันใจ ทำให้คุณได้ผู้ชมมากขึ้น เพียงอัปเดทเนื้อหาเป็นประจำในเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวกับสินค้าที่คุณขาย คุณก็จะเป็นจ้าวยุทธจักรในตลาดที่คุณทำได้ไม่ยากเลย

ขายของกับทำ AdSense อย่างไหนรวยกว่า

สำหรับผู้ที่ทำ adsense อยู่แล้วคงเข้าใจถึงความยากลำบากกว่าจะให้ได้มาซักคลิกนึง แน่นอนครับมันยากเพราะเราหลายคนเข้าใจอะไรผิดหลายๆอย่าง ไม่่ว่าจะเป็นระยะเวลาที่ให้กับมัน หรือ ความสม่ำเสมอในการดูแลเว็บไซต์ ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่ยากสำหรับคนที่มีงานประจำทำ หรือมีงานอยู่แล้ว ซึ่งก็ต้องรวมถึงเราเกือบทุกๆคน



ตัวผมเองกว่าจะได้เห็นเงินกับ adsense (เมื่อครั้งตอนเขียนหนังสือเล่มสัม) ก็ใช้เวลาประมาณ 4-5 เดือน และก่อนหน้านั้นก็ต้องใช้เวลาโปรโมท และก็อัปเดทบทความอยู่ตลอด แต่พอได้มา $3-4 เหรียญต่อวันต่อสองสามบล็อกก็รู้สึกหายเหนื่อยทันที แม้จะเป็นเงินไม่มากก็ตามที ทีนี้ลองมาคิดดูว่า ถ้าเราขายสินค้าออนไลน์ล่ะ มันจะสามารถทำเงินให้คุณได้เร็วขึ้นหรือช้าลง หรือยากง่ายกว่าอย่างไรบ้าง

นอกจากทำ adsense แล้วผมก็ขายสินค้าอยู่ใน ebay และ ioffer ซึ่งพักหลังมานี้ ทำให้เข้าใจอะไรหลายๆอย่างมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะเรื่องรายได้ที่ได้มาง่ายกว่าการทำ adsense ทั้งความเร็วในการรับเงิน (ขายปั้ปได้แทบจะได้เงินเข้ากระเป๋าทันที) และจำนวนเงินที่ได้ก็เป็นกอบเป็นกำ ไม่กระปริดกระปรอย คุณอาจจะบอกว่าทำ adsense นั้นง่ายกว่า เพราะคนเข้ามาคลิกก็ได้เงินแล้ว ใช่ครับง่ายกว่าถ้าเปรียบเทียบกับการขายสินค้าให้คนอื่นแบบ affiliate เช่น amazon เพราะนอกจากจะต้องคลิกแล้ว ก็ต้องคลิกอีกหลายคลิกกว่าจะถึงจุดที่ต้องจ่ายเงิน จริงๆ ซึ่งระหว่างทางนี้เอง คนเรามักจะเปลี่ยนใจได้ง่าย ไม่เหมือนกับคลิกแล้วได้เงินทันที

แต่พอเปรียบเทียบกับการขายสินค้าตามตลาดเปิดออนไลน์ต่างๆล่ะ ผมว่าการขายของย่อมได้เงินเร็วกว่าง่ายกว่ามาก ถ้าคุณรู้ว่าอะไรขายได้ ซึ่งก็ต้องใช้เวลาค้นหาไม่ต่างจากการค้นหาคีย์เวิร์ดที่ทำเงินเหมือนกับขั้นตอนที่จำเป็นกับการทำ adsense นอกจากนั้นก็ขึ้นอยู่กับความถนัดแล้วล่ะครับว่า ใครถนัดขายของ ใครถนัดทำเว็บทำบล็อกให้ดัง

โชคดีที่ผมทำทั้งสองอย่างพร้อมๆกันผมถึงมีหน้ามาบอกคุณได้ว่าอย่างไหนที่ผมคิดว่าทำเงินได้ง่ายและเร็วกว่า แต่ไม่ว่าอะไรก็ตาม ผมไม่ได้บอกว่าขายของนั้นดีกว่า adsense แน่นอนครับ แค่บอกว่า ถ้าคุณต้องการเงินแบบเร็วๆ การขายของย่อมเป็นทางออกที่ดีกว่า ถ้าคุณรู้ว่าขายอะไร ซึ่งถ้าคุณใช้เวลากับมันซักหน่อย ผมเชื่อว่าทุกคนก็หาคำตอบได้แน่ๆครับ เพราะ adsense ก็มีข้อดีอยู่มาก ในการที่แค่ต้องเหนี่อยกับตัวเอง ไม่ต้องเหนื่อยกับคนอื่นๆ (ลูกค้าซื้อของ)

ถ้าคุณจะทำเงินกับ adsense ได้เป็นรูปธรรมคุณจะต้องใช้เวลากับมันจริงๆจังๆ เหมือนกับมันเป็นธุระกิจอย่างหนึ่งจรงิๆ และก็ไม่ต้องไปกังวลเรื่องความสวยงามของเว็บมากนัก แค่ให้มันหาเงินได้วันละ อย่างน้อย 20 เซ็นต์ แล้วทำเว็บเพิ่มหรือทำเว็บไดเร็คทอรี่ ก็น่าจะเป็นทางออกที่ดีที่สุดสำหรับคนที่เขียนบทความไม่ได้ เช่น บล็อกละ 20 เซ็นต์ ทำซัก 100 บล็อก ก็ได้วันละ 20 เหรียญ หรือ 700 บาทแล้วครับ เดือนหนึ่งก็ได้ถึง20,000 บาทเลยทีเดียว โดยเหนื่อยแค่ช่วงแรกๆเท่านั้นเอง เพราะเท่าที่ดูๆ จากบล็อกของผมที่ทำทิ้งไว้ ไม่ได้ยุ่งกับมัน พอมานั่งดูยอดรวมมันก็ทำเงินได้ประมาณบล็อกละ 5-10 เซ็นต่อวันสองวันเหมือนกัน คิดดูว่าถ้าทำทิ้งไว้ซัก 1000 บล็อกก็น่าจะดีเหมือนกันนะ ทำเสร็จแล้วก็เหมือนกับการกินเงินบำนาญเลย

สรุปได้ง่ายๆ ว่าถ้าคุณคิดว่าคุณถนัดในการขายสินค้า ถนัดในการต่อรอง พูดคุยเจรจา และชอบขายของ ก็ต้องใช้เวลาในการหาสินค้ามาขายให้ได้ แล้วคุณจะเห็นรายได้แบบรวดเร็วจริงๆ ต่ถ้าที่ว่ามาไม่ถนัดเลย แต่ถนัดทำเว็บ ก็ต้องทำ ppc ไป ถ้าเขียนบทความไม่ได้ ก็ต้องปั่นอย่างเดียว ฝากลิงก์ให้มากๆ แล้วรอกินของเก่าไปเรื่อยๆ แต่เงินจะมาช้าหน่อยนะครับในตอนแรกๆ ส่วนผมแล้วผมชอบทั้งสองอย่าง และสองอย่างนี้ก็ทำเงินให้ผมได้เรื่อยๆ แต่ในช่วงตีนต้น การขายของแซงแน่นอนครับ

อยากรู้ทำไมถึงไม่รวยซักที ลองถามตัวเอง

วันนี้ผมจะมาโพสอะไรที่แตกต่างจากเดิมซักหน่อย ซึ่งใครจะหาว่าผมคิดบ้าก็ยอม ถ้ามันจะทำให้ใครหลายคนคิดได้ก็เอาวะ หลายคนอาจจะคิดว่าไม่เกี่ยวอะไรกับเนื้อหาใน DML แต่ที่จริงแล้ว นี่แหละคือสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด ไม่ว่าคุณจะทำอาชีพอะไร มันคือส่วนผสมสำคัญของการประสบความสำเร็จของทุกอาชีพการงาน มันเป็นบทสรุปของข้อคิดที่จะทำให้รวย

หลายคนอาจจะเคยได้ยินมาแล้วหลายครั้งหลายหน แต่ที่ผมมาบอกคุณไม่ใช่เพราะผมคิดว่าหลายจะยังไม่่เคยได้ยินบทสรุปของข้อคิดเหล่านี้ แต่มาบอกเพราะผมคิดว่า เมื่อผมเห็นว่ามันได้ผลจริง ผมก็มีหน้าที่ๆ จะมาเอามือตบไปที่ไหล่ของคุณว่า เฮ้ย! นี่แหละที่เป็นของจริง ที่จะช่วยให้คุณหลุดพ้นจากความจนได้ นี่แหละคือสิ่งที่ทำให้ผมหลุดพ้นมาแล้ว และคุณก็ทำได้เช่นกัน
เป็นไปได้หรือไม่ว่า ลึกๆ แล้วคุณคิดว่าเงินคือตัวปัญหา หลายคนได้ยินได้ถูกฝังหัวมาว่า เงินไม่ใช่ทางออกของทุกสิ่ง เงินซื้อไม่ได้ทุกสิ่ง ใช่ผมไม่เถึยง แต่คิดแบบนี้ ไม่สร้างประโยชน์อะไร จะว่าไปมันผิดมากๆ เงินไม่ใช่สิ่งเลวร้าย เงินช่วยคุณได้ ช่วยคนอื่นที่ลำบากกว่าคุณได้ นั่นคือสิ่งที่คนที่รวยที่สุดในโลกเคยบอก (Bill Gates) ลองถามตัวเองดูให้ดีว่าคุณอยากรวยแค่ไหน ต้องบอกตัวเองว่าอยากรวยจริงๆ ก่อน แล้วคุณจะรวยแน่นอน ผมลองแล้ว ได้ผลอย่างน่าประหลาด จนลืมไปแล้วว่ามันเปลี่ยนชีวิตผม เมื่อก่อนผมไม่เคยรู้ตัวเองเลยว่าในใจลิึกแล้วผมขยะแขยงคนรวยแค่ไหน เพราะจากประสบการณ์ของผมเจอแต่คนรวยงี่เง่า แต่พอผมเลิกคิดแบบนี้ บอกตัวเองว่ามันไม่เกี่ยว ทำให้ผมเห็นโลกอีกแบบไป ชีวิตก็เริ่มดีขึ้นทันตาเห็น

คุณเฝ้านึกถึงแต่จำนวนเงินเดิมๆ ที่เคยๆ ได้หรือเปล่า? เช่น เงินเดือน ค่าจ้าง คิดถึงเงินจำนวนเท่าไหน บ่อยๆ ระวัง! คุณก็จะได้แต่เงินจำนวนเงินนั้นเดิมๆ ซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า ไม่ได้โม้ เรื่องจริง ผมลองมาแล้ว (ใครที่รับเงินเดือนเป็นกันทุกคน เพราะเฝ้าแต่รอเงินเดือนออก นึกภาพในหัวถึงแต่จำนวนเงินเดิมๆ นั่นคือภัยร้ายที่ไม่รู้ตัว ดังนั้น ถ้าอยากรวยขึ้น ซึ่งก็คือการอยากได้เงินมากขึ้น คุณต้องนึกถึงตัวเลขที่ต้องการจริงๆ ที่มากกว่าเดิม มากที่สุด เท่าคิดว่าอยากได้ ไม่ใช่เงินที่ได้รับประจำ)
คุณไม่เคยตั้งเป้าหมายหรือไม่? ว่าอยากได้เงินเท่าไหร่ต่อเดือน อยากได้เงินเท่าไหร่ต่อเดือน ให้ท่องเอาไว้บ่อยๆ แล้วจะเห็นผล (ข้อนี้จะคล้ายๆ ข้อที่แล้ว แต่ขอย้ำอีกหน่อย)
คุณมักลืมจัดลำดับความสำคัญหรือไม่? ในสิ่งที่ต้องทำในแต่ละวัน การจัดลำดับความสำคัญของสิ่งที่ต้องทำในแต่ละวันสำคัญมาในทุกวัน ทำในสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดก่อนเสมอ อย่าตามใจตัวเอง สิ่งนี้เป็นเหตุผลหลักที่ทำให้ผมหลุดรอดมาได้ถึงทุกวันนี้จากที่เคยเป็นหนี้เป็นแสน ตกงาน ไม่มีเงินซักบาท แถมโดนทวงหนี้ทุกวัน
คิดว่าอะไรก็เป็นไปไม่ได้ มองอะไรเป็นความยากเย็ญไปหมดหรือไม่ เปลี่ยนความคิดซะ เพราะในโลกนี้ไม่มีอะไรเกินความสามารถของมนุษย์ไปได้ ไม่มีใครฉลาดแต่เกิด ถ้าคนๆ หนึ่งรวยได้ อีกคนก็ต้องรวยได้เช่นกัน
คุณให้เวลากับสิ่งที่จะทำให้คุณรวยพอแล้วหรือไม่? ถ้าคิดว่าทำแล้ว อาจจะยังไม่พอ… มันไม่ใช่แค่คำพูดที่ผมอยากจะให้คุณคิดว่าผมเป็นคนช่างคิดช่างเขียน แต่มันเป็นกฎของจักรวาลที่ผมเองก็ยังงงและก็แทบไม่อยากเชื่อเลยว่ามันแค่นี้เองเหรอที่จะทำให้รวยได้

วิธีทำให้หน้า Homepage ของ Blogger แสดง Post ย่อๆ หรือที่เรียกว่า Post Excerpt (เซิพๆ) จะได้แสดงโพสได้มากๆ ในหน้าโฮมเพจ เพื่อให้ดูเหมือนบล็อก Magazine หรือเหมือน read more ใน WP ได้ แบบที่คุณกำลังเห็นใน blog นี้ ทุกๆ โพสต์ จะถูกย่อไว้ แล้วให้คลิกเพื่ออ่านที่เหลือ

เริ่มสนุกกันแล้วใช่ป่ะ ผมเองก็ตื่นเต้นเหมือนกับเพื่อนๆ ทุกคน ที่ได้ลองเทคนิคใหม่ๆ ว้าว มันสุดยอดจัง แหมมเกือบลืมแบ่งเวลาไป update post ใน blog ด้วยล่ะ อิอิ อย่ามือแต่หนุกกับ ลูกเล่นจนลืม

เอาล่ะครับ ไม่มีอะไรที่ทำไม่ได้ และก็ไม่มีอะไรที่ทำแล้วสมหวังทุกอย่าง ดังนั้นบอกไว้ก่อนว่าวิธีทำนี้ ถ้าจะให้โพสเก่าแสดง Post เป็น Excerpt ด้วย ก็คงต้องเปิด Edit มันออกมาทีละโพสใหม่ด้วย เดี๋ยวจะรู้ว่าทำไม มาเริ่มกันเลยครับ




1. ล็อกอินเข้า Blogger ของคุณ

2. ไปที่หน้า Template Edit

3. คลิกที่ช่อง Expand Widgets

4. มองหาโค้ด /head แล้วใส่โค้ดด้านล่างก่อนมัน (/head )



Note: ไปดาวน์โหลด Code ได้ครับ ไม่ต้องพิมพ์เอง อยู่ด้านล่างสุด

5. มองหาโค้ด แล้วใส่โค้ดด้านล่างตามภาพต่อท้ายตามมาติดๆ



6. ไปที่เมนู Dashboard Settings (ตั้งค่า) > Formatting (เมนูย่อยที่ 3) เลื่อนหน้าลงไปให้สุด แล้วจะพบกับช่องใส่ Post Template ในช่องนี้ จะเป็นการใส่คำสั่งเพื่อทุกครั้งที่เราโพส เราจะได้รู้ว่าโพสที่ต้องการแสดงในหน้าโฮมเพจย่อๆ นั้นยาวถึงแค่ไหน และโพสที่เหลือที่ต้องการแสดงในหน้าโพสเต็มๆ นั้นเริ่มตั้งแต่บรรทัดใด ดูภาพ



7. ทุกครั้งที่โพสใน Blogger คุณก็จะเห็นเจ้าโค้ดสองชุดจากขัั้นตอนที่ 6 ทุกครั้ง เพื่อจะได้แบ่งโพสให้แสดงได้ถูกว่าจะให้แค่ไหนแสดงในหน้าโฮมเพจย่อๆ และเริ่มให้แสดงโพสเต็มที่บรรทัดเท่าไหร่อย่างที่บอกในขั้นตอนที่ 6 ดูภาพหน้าสร้างโพสใหม่จะกลายเป็นแบบนี้



สุดท้ายต้องบอกว่านี่เป็นวิธีที่ง่าย ที่ดีที่สุดเท่าจะหาได้ในการทำ Post Excerpt ใน Blogger ถ้าคุณมองหาวิธีที่ง่ายกว่านี้ ผมก็ต้องขอแสดงความเสียใจด้วยครับ แต่ที่เห็นใน Blogger ของผมๆ ผมใช้เวลาแค่ไม่กี่นาทีเท่านั้นในการปรับแต่งให้มันสามารถแสดงเป็น Blog Magazine อย่างที่เห็นได้ เพราะฉนั้นลงมือทำเลยครับ แล้วจะรู้ว่าไม่ยากเกินความสามารถแน่นอน แล้วพบกันใหม่

การทำเงินกับ Google AdSense ฟังดูเหมือนฝันที่ไม่มีวันเป็นจริงสำหรับคนมากมาย แต่สำหรับคนที่ทำสำเร็จแล้ว เมื่อมองย้อนกลับมาก็จะเห็นทันทีว่า เคล็ดลับมันคืออะไร และอะไรที่เป็นสาเหตทำให้หาเงินเป็นกอบเป็นกำไม่ได้ซักที

ปัจจัย 1: Unique Content (ผมได้ยินเสียงผู้อ่านเริ่มหาว) Unique Content คือคำตอบของทุกสิ่งจริงๆ ขอเพียงให้คุณใช้ Unique Content ที่หามาได้ ไม่ว่าจะเขียนดีเขียนห่วยแค่ไหน หรือใช้เครื่อง rewrite มาก็ตาม แต่ขอให้เป็น Unique และมีคีย์เวิร์ดเป็นใช้ได้ ซึ่งเดี๋ยวนี้ก็มี Software และ Plugin ช่วยในเรื่องนี้หลายตัวที่ผมได้เคยแนะนำไปบ้างจากโพสก่อนๆ

( จากผู้อ่าน: อันนี้ยังไม่ได้ลอง copy เค้าตลอด แต่กำลังจะคิด copy แล้วแปลไปเป็นอีกภาษา ใช้ google translate แปลไปเลย มันไม่ 100% แต่ว่า เป็น Unique content ของแต่ละภาษาแน่ อิอิ แค่คิดน่ะว่าน่าจะใช่ คงต้องไปลองทำดู หมายถึงผม คงต้องลองไปทำดู ได้ผลแล้วจะมารายงานคร๊าบผม )


ปัจจัย 2: Update- Update- Update อัปเดทบทความที่มีเข้าไปในบล็อกอย่างน้อยสองวันครั้ง ผมคงไม่ต้องขยายความตรงจุดนี้ให้มากนัก แค่อยากบอกว่า สิ่งนี้เองที่หลายคนล้มเลิกเร็วเกินไป ทำให้ไม่ประสบความสำเร็จหรือมองเห็นว่า 1 เดือนช่างเป็นเวลาที่ยาวนานซะเหลือเกิน แต่ขอให้จำไว้ว่า ถ้าคุณอดทนทำได้อย่างที่บอกเป็นเวลา 3 เดือน คุณจะเห็นความแตกต่างของรายได้อย่างชัดเจน (จากผู้อ่าน,ลองทำแล้ว ได้ผลดีจริงๆ )


ปัจจัย 3: ใช้บล็อก .com ที่สร้างด้วย WordPress และ Plugins ช่วย SEO ต่างๆ ถ้าไม่มีเงินใช้ Blogger ได้เช่นกัน แต่ไม่ว่าจะใช้อะไร จำไว้ว่า ต้องวาง Ads ในตำแหน่งที่เคยบอกไว้ในโพสนี้ วาง ad ใน blogger (จากผู้อ่าน: อันนี้เริ่มลงมือทำแล้ว รอดูผล... ตามสโลแกนที่ว่า Yes, Make it right now, Don't hesitate. )


หมดแล้วครับมี 3 ปัจจัยหลักแค่นี้เองที่จะนำพาเงินจาก Google AdSense ในจำนวนที่เลี้ยงชีพพอได้โดยไม่ต้องออกไปทำงานประจำ คุณอาจจะมองหาปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวกับลิงก์ จำนวนลิงก์ backlinks ซึ่งต้องขอบอกเลยว่ามันเป็นเรื่องรองลงสำหรับคนที่มี Unique Content (จากผู้อ่าน www.digitalmoneylife.com : คิดว่าจะเริ่มต้นทดลองทำตั้งแต่วันนีเลยครับผม )


เมื่อทำอย่างตามนั้นได้ สิ่งที่เหลือทุกอย่างจะตามมาเอง จากปัจจัย 3 อย่างนี้ เมื่อสิ้นเดือน 3 คุณจะเห็น impression อย่างน้อยวันละ 1000 (20-50 คลิก) และจะขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ เป็น 2000 และ 3000 ถ้าคุณยังอัปเดทบทความไม่หยุด click และ impression มันจะเพิ่มจำนวนไปเรื่อยๆ นอกจากนั้นจากความเก่าของเว็บ มันก็จะทำให้ ad มีราคาค่าคลิกมากขึ้นตามไปด้วย แต่ถ้าเห็นว่ารายได้ต่อคลิกน้อยเกินไป ก็เปลี่ยนคีย์เวิร์ด ลองทำตลาดอื่นๆ ดูบ้าง ขยายกิจการต่อไปเรื่อยๆ จากนั้นก็ฝากลิงก์ซักนิดหน่อยตามความสะดวกแบบไม่ต้องบีบคอตัวเอง เมื่อถึงเวลานั้น คุณจะเหมือนกับผมที่มองย้อนกลับมาแล้วบอกกับตัวเองว่า “รู้งี้ทำตั้งนานแล้ว”

ทำไมทำ AdSense ไม่เคยกะตัง เลย

คำถามนี้ใครๆก็ต้องเคยสงสัย ผมเองก็เคยสงสัย และสงสัยอยู่เป็นปี แต่ก็ได้คำตอบในที่สุด ที่กว่าจะได้มาก็ต้องแลกกับเวลาและความพยายามค่อนข้างมากทีเดียว

สิ่งแรกเลยที่เป็นปัญหาของคนไทยที่ทำ AdSense แล้วไม่ได้เงินคือ การเลือกคีย์เวิร์ดผิดๆ เลือกคีย์เวิร์ดที่ค่าคลิกน้อย แต่นั่นก็ไม่เท่ากับความอดทนที่มีน้อย และใจร้อนเกินไป คนส่วนใหญ่จะชอบคิดไปว่าการหาเงินทางเน็ตนั้นจะต้องเป็นอะไรที่เร็วทันใจ ทำวันนี้ได้อาทิตย์หน้าอะไรอย่างนี้ ซึ่งนั่นเอง ผมว่าถ้าขายของออนไลน์ก็ไม่แปลกหรอกครับ ถ้ารู้ว่าจะขายอะไรแล้วขายได้ ก็จะได้เงินเร็วแน่นอน แต่ไม่ใช่ AdSense แน่นอน แม้เว็บปั่นก็ตามยังต้องรอเป็นเดือนเลยกว่าจะเห็นผลที่น่าพอใจแบบเป็นรูปธรรมจริงๆ



เรื่องสุดท้ายที่เห็นบ่อยที่สุดก็คึือ ปิดเว็บเร็วเกินไป พอไม่เห็นคลิกเพียงไม่กี่เดือน ก็ปิด เลิกทำกันไปเลย มันเร็วไปครับ ผมว่าอย่างน้อยต้องรอซักปีหนึ่ง และช่วงเวลาที่รอนั้นก็โปรโมทมันเข้าไป เหลือเวลาก็ทำเว็บที่อื่นอีกได้ เอาบทเรียนจากเว็บแรกมาทบทวนดู เพราะเท่าที่ผมดูฝรั่งส่วนใหญ่ที่ทำเงินได้มากมายกับวงการ PPC ก็ล้วนแต่ใช้เวลาอย่างน้อยหนึ่งปีทั้งนั้น ในการทำสิ่งเดิมๆไปเรื่อยๆ นั่งโพสไปอาทิตย์ละโพสสองโพส จนบล็อกมีคนติดเอง ก็ไม่เคยซักทีที่เห็นบล็อกไหนเกิดมาได้ 2-3 เดือนแล้วทำเงินได้วันละเป็นร้อยเหรียญ แต่ก็นั่นแหละครับ เขาเขียนภาษาอังกฤษได้ ไม่เหมือนเราๆท่านๆส่วนใหญ่

แต่ถ้าคุณมีปัญหาเรื่องบทความต่างๆ ผมก็คิดว่าทางออกที่ดีที่สุดในการทำเงินกับ PPC อย่าง AdSense หรือ Chitika ก็คือการทำเว็บไดเร็คทอรี่ซะเอง แค่หาคีย์เวิร์ดมา วงการที่ไม่เกร่อนัก แต่มีค่าคลิกไม่ต่ำว่า 1 เหรียญนะ ต่ำกว่านั้นผมว่าเสียเวลามากไปในการรอ ปกติก็รอแย่แล้วกว่าจะได้คลิก จากนั้นรวบรวมลิงก์มาให้ได้มากที่สุด แล้วก็เอา ad วางให้กลมกลืนกับลิงก์ที่ว่า จากนั้นก็ฝากลิงก์และโปรโมท โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งบทความอะไรเลย ผมเห็นมีคนไทยทำแบบนี้ ได้เดือนละหลายหมื่นบาทก็มีครับ เป็นไปได้ทีเดียว เก็บไว้เป็นออฟชั่นแล้วกันครับ ในการทำเว็บหากินกับ PPC

หมวดหมู่และความนิยมของ key word

ค้นพบหมวดหมู่ของนิชคีย์เวิร์ดที่ทำเงินด้วยตัวคุณเอง

ทุกครั้งที่ผมจะหานิชคีย์เวิร์ด ผมจะแบ่งคีย์เวิร์ดออกเป็นหมวดหมู่ ซึ่งแต่ละหมวดหมู่ก็จะมีนิชคีย์เวิร์ดแยกออกไปตามตลาดที่ต่างกัน และนิชคีย์เวิร์ดที่สามารถทำเงินได้ก็แบ่งได้เป็น 5หมวดหมู่ดังนี้



1- นิชเกี่ยวกับการเงิน (finance niches) เช่น loan, debt, banking, student loan, online investing, forex, stock market, currency exchange, realastate ฯลฯ

2- นิชเกี่ยวกับเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า (consumer electronics niches) sony dvd player, samsung plasma tv, air conditioner, sony ps2, personal computer, dell computer, toshiba notebook, apple iphone, nokia mobile phone, floor heatingฯลฯ

3- นิชเกี่ยวกับงานบริการและท่องเที่ยว (service & travel niches) เช่น boston legal, cheap hotel rates, tax attorney, law firm marketing, escort service, dating service, cheap cruise, cheap flight ฯลฯ

4- นิชเกี่ยวกับความสวยความงาม (beauty product niches) เช่น hair removal, high heel shoes, prada handbag, acne laser treatments ฯลฯ

5- นิชเกี่ยวกับโรงเรียนและการฝึกฝน (school & training niches) เช่น yoga, driving lessons, weight training, language school, horse trainingฯลฯ

คุณจะสังเกตุเห็นได้ว่านิชคีย์เวิร์ดที่ผมเลือกมาใช้นั้น จะมีเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องอินเตอร์เน็ตน้อยมาก เรื่องที่เป็นเรื่องที่คุ้นเคยกับเว็บมาสเตอร์หรือการหากินด้วยเว็บไซต์ต่างๆก็คุณควรหนีให้ห่างถ้าอยากทำเงินกับ AdSense คีย์เวิร์ดที่คุณควรให้ความสนใจส่วนใหญ่ควรจะเป็นเรื่องที่จำเป็นในชีวิตประจำวันของคนทั่วๆไปในโลกแห่งความจริง ไม่ใช่โลกออนไลน์

นิชคีย์เวิร์ดในแต่ละหมวดหมู่ที่ว่ามานี้ จะเป็นไอเดียที่ดีให้คุณสามารถเอาไปหาจำนวนค้นหาในแต่ละวันได้จาก WordTracker Free หรือดูความนิยมและที่มาของคนค้นหาจาก Google Trends (http://trends.google.com)

แปลกจัง ทำไมคนคลิก Ad น้อย

เดี๋ยวนี้คลิกกันน้อยลง เนื่องจากหลายสาเหตุด้วยกัน ซึ่งถ้าใครพบว่าตัวเองทำเว็บ whitehat แล้วเจอเหตุการณ์แบบนี้ คือมีคนเข้าเพียบ แต่ไม่มีคลิกเลย แม้แต่คลิกเดียว เหมือนกับบล็อก DML แห่งนี้ ซึ่งผมก็รู้ดีอยู่แล้วว่าทำบล็อกแบบนี้ไม่มีใครคลิก Ad หรอก แต่ก็ทำเพราะอยากทำ และโพสนี้ก็น่าจะเป็นประโยชน์ได้มากสำหรับทุกคนที่เจอเหตุการณ์เช่นเดียวกันนี้ ซึ่งผมจะมาแจกแจงให้ฟังดังนี้
ทำไมไม่มีใครคลิก Ad เลย



เหตุผลที่ 1. เห็นแล้วรู้แล้วว่า ad มันคืออะไร

หลังที่ Google AdSense เกิดขึ้นมาได้จะสิบปี ป่านนี้นักท่องเว็บทุกคนจำกันได้หมดแล้วว่าคลิกไปแล้วจะเกิดอะไรขึ้น การเห็น ป้ายโฆษณา Contextual Ad ก็เหมือนสัญญาณบอกเหตุไม่ให้คลิกนั่นเอง ดังนั้น ถ้าคุณพบว่าเว็บคุณมีคนเข้ามากมาย แต่ไม่มีใครคลิก คุณ ก็ต้องลืมกฎทุกอย่างวิธีทุกวิธีที่เคยเรียนรู้มา อย่างเช่นของการทำให้ ad กลมกลืนกับเว็บ เพราะมันไม่ช่วยอะไรอีกต่อไปแล้ว แล้วปรับเปลีี่ยนให้หน้าตาของ Ad ประหลาดขึ้น เปลี่ยน font เปลี่ยนสีให้ประหลาดๆ ไม่ให้จำได้ ไม่ให้เหมือนเดิม ลองเอาไปทำดู ขนาด ezinearticles.com ยังเปลี่ยน font ของ ad ซะแปลกประหลาด ผมว่าเขาก็คงเจอปัญหาเดียวกันนี้เองแน่นอน

เหตุผลที่ 2. บทความดีเกินไป!!

ใช่แล้วครับ คุณได้ยินไม่ผิดแน่นอน สิ่งนี้ถูกทดสอบมาแล้วนับครั้งไม่ถ้วน ถ้าคุณจัดหาบทความดีๆ ยาวๆ ครบถ้วนกระบวนความ ให้ความรู้อย่างเต็มเม็ดเต็มหน่วย ผู้อ่านก็จะไม่รู้สึกว่าต้องการอะไรเพิ่มอีก ดังนั้น ก็จะไม่มีการคลิกเกิดขึ้น ตรงกันข้าม ถ้าคุณให้บทความที่ขาดๆ เกินๆ อ่านไม่รู้เรื่อง หรือมีแค่ไทเทิ้ล ให้ฉงวยงวยงง ผู้อ่านก็จะได้รับความรู้สึกที่อยากจะหลีกหนี หรือต้องการจะหาข้อมูลเพื่ออ่านต่อ และผลที่ตามมาก็คือ หาอะไรที่ใกล้ที่สุดคลิกไปก่อน เพื่อจะได้ออกจากที่ตรงนั้น

เหตุผลที่ 3. คุณทำ Whitehat

เหตุผลนี้ก็จะคล้ายๆ กับ ข้อ 2 นั่นเอง บางครั้งทำเว็บหน้าตาแย่ๆ ปั่นบทความมั่วๆ ก็ทำให้โอกาสการได้รับคลิกมีมากกว่า ซึ่งถ้าผมพูดแบบนี้เมื่อ 3-4 ปีก่อน ทุกคนคงหาว่าผมบ้า แต่วันนี้ทุกอย่างมันได้เปลี่ยนไปแล้วตั้งแต่คนจำ ad กันได้หมดว่าคลิกเข้่าไปแล้วจะเจออะไร แต่ก็ไม่เสมอไปนะครับ ว่าทำ whitehat แล้วจะไม่มีคนคลิก มันขึ้นอยู่กับประเภทของบททความด้วย ซึ่งดูได้จากเหตุผลต่อไป

เหตุผลที่ 4: บทความของคุณไม่ได้เขียนมาเพื่อผู้ซื้อ

บทความมีหลายประเภท ต่อละประเภทก็จะดึงดูด traffic คนละแบบกันเข้ามา ผมเคยทำเว็บเกี่ยวกับการแก้ปัญหาเครื่องคอม มีคนเข้ามากันล้นหลาม แต่ไม่มีคนคลิก ก็เพราะว่าคนที่เข้ามาสนใจแต่การแก้ปัญหาเครื่องคอมของเขาเท่านั้น และบทความของผมก็ให้คำตอบได้อย่างครบถ้วนจริงๆ ซึ่งพอเขาได้คำตอบครบ เขาก็จะไม่สนอะไรอย่างอื่นอีกต่อไป พอได้คำตอบก็ปิดเว็บผมทันที ทำให้ไม่เกิดคลิกขึ้น ดังนั้นบทความที่จะทำให้เกิด traffic ที่มีคนคลิก ก็จะมีสองอย่าง อย่างแรก บททความที่มีเนื้อหาไม่ครบ แล้วตามด้วยป้ายโฆษณา หรือ ถ้าแบบถูกทำนองคลองธรรมก็จะเป็น บทความที่พูดถึงการเลือกซื้อ ซื้ออย่างไร ซื้อราคาแบบไหน ซื้อรุ่นอะไรดี (product review) นั่นแหละที่จะดึงดูด traffic ที่กำลังคิดจะซื้ออะไรบางอย่าง ที่จะทำให้ป้ายโฆษณา affiliate หรือป้าย adsense เกิดการคลิกขึ้น จบข่าว

แสดง AdSense ใน Blogger เฉพาะในแต่ละหน้าโพสต์

ต่อจากโพส ติด AdSense ให้คลิกง่ายใน Blogger เราก็ได้เห็นการติด Adsense แบบแทรกในเนื้อหาซึ่งถือว่าเป็นตำแหน่งที่ทำเงินที่สุดกันไปแล้ว อีกทั้งผมก็ได้แก้ไขเทคนิคนั้นให้สมบูรณ์ใช้ได้กับทุก template แล้ว…

แต่เรื่องยังไม่จบแค่นั้น เพราะการวาง Ad ด้วยวิธีแทรกไว้ในโพสที่ผมได้บอกไปจากบทความนั้น จะทำให้ ad แสดงในหน้าทุกหน้าของบล็อก รวมถึงหน้าโฮมเพจด้วย ซึ่งเราไม่ควรทำ เพราะการจะแสดง Ad ในหน้าโฮมเพจที่มีโพสแสดงอยู่มากมาย จะทำให้ Ad นั้นแสดงมากเกินจำนวนที่ AdSense กำหนดได้ (ถ้าคุณตั้งในหน้าโฮมเพจแสดงโพสไว้เกิน 3 โพส) และทำให้ Ad มีราคาถูกลง เนื่องจากค่า CTR ลดลง ทำให้เสียรายได้ลงไปอีก ดังนั้นเราจะมาดูเทคนิคการวาง Ad เฉพาะหน้าโพสเดี่ยวๆ ที่เหมาะกับการวาง Ad แบบแทรกภายในโพสโดยเฉพาะกัน…



ถ้าคุณสังเกตุ Blogger ที่ทำเงิน ที่มีจำนวนบทความให้้อ่านมากๆ ทั้งหลาย เขาจัดเรียงบล็อกให้เหมือนกับเว็บ article directory ทั่วไป ที่หน้าโฮมเพจเป็นหน้าที่แสดงตัวอย่างโพสที่เรียงรายกันไปด้วยไทเทิ้ลและเนื้อหาอีก 3-4 เป็น excerpt เป็นให้คลิกอ่านต่อได้ (read more) เหมือนกับบล็อกของผม digitalmoneylife แห่งนี้เช่นกัน ที่จะทำให้หน้าโฮมเพจดูหลากหลายและมีบทความให้อ่านมากมาย แทนที่จะมี Ad วางอยู่เต็มไปหมดให้รบกวนสายตาผู้ชม เพราะอย่าลืมว่าผู้้ชมส่วนใหญ่ 60%-80% เข้ามาบล็อกคุณผ่านจาก Search Engine ทำให้เข้ามาทางโพสใดโพสหนึ่งมากกว่าเข้ามาทางหน้าโฮมเพจอยู่แล้ว และคนที่เข้ามาในหน้าโฮมเพจตรงๆ ส่วนใหญ่่จะเป็นผู้ชมขอประจำที่ไม่คลิก Ad อยู่แล้ว

ดังนั้นสิ่งที่เราต้องการก็คือ การแสดง Ad แบบแทรกภายในโพสนี้ แสดงเฉพาะหน้าโพสเดี่ยวๆ เท่านั้น และไม่ให้มันแสดงในหน้าโฮมเพจเลย เพื่อที่เราจะได้แสดงไทเทิ้ลโพส และตัวอย่างโพสในหน้าโฮมเพจได้ในจำนวนมากๆ เท่าที่เราต้องการได้ โดยที่ไม่ต้องมากังวลกับจำนวนของ Ad ที่จะแสดงออกมามากเกินไป (ดูตัวอย่างบล็อกที่ผมทำไว้ได้ที่ Thaitouristinfo

เข้าไปดูแล้วจะเห็นว่า ผมได้แสดงเฉพาะ excerpt หรือตัวอย่างโพสในหน้าโฮมเพจ และต้องคลิกเข้าดูในโพสถึงจะเห็น Ad) และถ้าจะวาง Ad ในหน้าโฮมเพจ ผมก็แนะนำให้ใช้ Widget ซึ่งคุณสามารถวางได้ในตำแหน่งต่างๆ เช่น ใต้ header, footer หรือ sitebar ฯลฯ ซึ่งเป็นตำแหน่งที่เหมาะสมสำหรับหน้าโฮมเพจมากกว่า การวางแบบแทรกในโพส ดังนั้นให้ให้คุณใส่โค้ด:





เมื่อวางโค้ดนี้เข้าไปก่อนหน้าและหลังโค้ด Adsense + คำสั่ง Float ก็จะมีหน้าตาของโค้ดทั้งหมดดังภาพต่อไปนี้ื

คราวหน้าผมจะมาบอกเทคนิค Blogger ต่อในเรื่องการแสดง เฉพาะตัวอย่างโพสในหน้าโฮมเพจ (Excerpt Post Home Page) เพื่อทำให้ Blogger ที่มีบทความมากๆ ดูเป็นมืออาชีพ และน่าสนใจ ทำให้เพิ่มจำนวนผู้ชมขาประจำได้มากขึ้น
