Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) Season 2 - 16 Scholars

25 Big Dreamers were selected over the last few days of Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) Season 2 “The Dream BIGins” episodes. And last night, the names of 15 official scholars were announced.

Mixed emotions filled the air as names of the new scholars are called out one by one by no other than the Academy's Headmaster, Mr. Ryan Cayabyab. Some couldn’t even help but fall into tears while performing on stage.

Included in the official list of PDA Season 2 Scholars are Hansen Nichols, Michelle Belmonte, Jay Bogayan, Van Louelle Pojas, Jun Ross Dio, Cris Pastor, Miguel Mendoza, Beatriz Muñoz, Chivas Anton Malunda, Maria Liezel Garcia, Apple Abarquez, Christian Alvear, Jovannie Malunda, Rafael Ignacio Ting, and Laarni Losala.

Mr. C. only called 15 names, quite unusual since the Academy is in search of 16 Scholars. According to them, the reason behind this was Dreamer Ma. Consuelo Osorio’s last-minute decision to back out from the competition due to personal reasons. This unexpected event brought about a brand new twist in the Academy, aside from the other shocking task that Mr. C. casted upon Teacher Monet Silvestre, which is to live inside the Academy with the Scholars.

Osorio’s absence left an empty seat, thus, giving high hopes to four other Dreamers to have the chance to enter the Academy, fill in her slot, and fulfill their dreams.
The four lucky Dreamers who were wait-listed are Hera “Hera” Redoblado, Lamberto “Lambert” Reyes, Catherine “Poy” Palma, and Ranjit “Jet” Singh. The fate of the four will merely depend on their supporters’ text votes until tonight.

To vote for your bet wait-listed Dreamer, all you have to do is type PDA and send it to 2331 for Globe, Touch Mobile, Sun Cellular, and Bayan Wireless Landline subscribers or to 231 for Smart and Talk and Text subscribers.

Who among the four wait-listed Dreamers could possibly get the support of the majority in pursuing his or her dream? Stay tuned on Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2, and wait for the text-vote results tonight live on ABS-CBN 2.
